What are Biostimulating Fillers?

Biostimulating fillers (also known as biostimulators) are quite different from traditional hyaluronic acid fillers. Instead of restoring lost volume immediately, biostimulators work by kickstarting the body’s elastin and collagen production, filling in wrinkles and areas of volume loss and allowing you to achieve younger and natural-looking results. The results will also continue to improve over time as collagen builds up in the skin.

The Biostimulating Fillers Procedure

Treatment with biostimulating fillers could not be simpler. To start off, we’ll clean the treatment area, and Dr. Hassanzadeh will mark the injection sites. From there, she’ll carefully use a thin needle to administer your injections. The injection quantity you require depends on the results you’re looking for.

Treatment shouldn’t take more than 10 to 20 minutes.

Biostimulating Fillers Recovery

Once your injections are finished, you can go back to work or home immediately. You will want to avoid putting pressure on your injection sites and strenuous activity.

You likely won’t see significant results immediately. The formula needs time to kickstart collagen production. It usually takes a few weeks before you see improvements and may require a second injection.
