The Procedure

For both treatments, we’ll begin by cleansing your skin and injecting local anesthetic to ensure your comfort throughout your treatment. For FaceTite, Dr. Hassanzadeh will begin by making two needle pokes behind your earlobes and one under your chin to perform liposuction for fat reduction. She will then proceed with FaceTite, which will apply radiofrequency heat to tighten your skin.

For Quantum RF, Dr. Hassanzadeh will only make two needle pokes behind your earlobes to insert the probe. Radiofrequency energy will then be delivered to stimulate powerful tightening and collagen remodeling. 

How long your treatment lasts depends on whether liposuction is involved and how much energy needs to be delivered but generally lasts 1-2 hours. Dr. Hassanzadeh will then apply a pressure garment around your face and neck, which she will advise you to wear for 1-2 weeks.

FaceTite & Quantum RF Recovery

After your treatment, you can expect to be swollen primarily from the numbing fluid, which will gradually subside on its own. You may already see enhancements in your jawline from the start, but this will continuously improve. Most patients start to see significant results after several weeks; tightening occurs over the course of one full year.

During your recovery, it is important to keep your head elevated and to apply compression as much as possible over the first two weeks. You will want to avoid strenuous activity and exercise for those first 1-2 weeks. After this time, Dr. Hassanzadeh will instruct you on how to massage your face and neck to optimize your healing.

Who is a Candidate?

Good candidates for FaceTite and Quantum RF include individuals who are in generally good health, those with realistic expectations, and nonsmokers. It’s also recommended for those struggling with skin laxity, jowling, submental fat or a “double chin”, or anyone with a full lower face and neck desiring a more contoured appearance. Some refer to these procedures as a nonsurgical facelift due to the powerful tightening that is achieved.
